What are Muaya teabags made of?
Our teabags are compostable and made from natural cellulose. They’re Non-GMO Verified, unbleached, and finished with tags crafted from 100% recycled paper using soy-based inks. The strings are pure cotton, ensuring every part of our teabags is gentle on you and the environment.
Are Muaya tea bag packaging recyclable or compostable?
Muaya tea bag packaging are 100% compostable and certified ok compost by TUV Austria. They’re crafted from FSC® certified paper with a Non-GMO PLA. Tested to fully break down without eco-toxicity, these plant-based wrappers can be composted through municipal or industrial green waste programs.
How much caffeine is in a cup of your tea?
It varies! Factors like where the tea is grown, how it’s processed, and how you steep it all affect caffeine levels. That’s why we provide ranges and use low, medium, or high caffeine labels on our packages. Generally, a 6–8 oz cup has 15–70 mg of caffeine, compared to 95–200 mg in a cup of coffee.
